God Help the Children!

I was somewhat perturbed to find on a GCSE study site, Coursework.Info , the following: "The mobile phones can also be used in exactly the same way as microwaves. If positioned correctly between an egg, it is possible to cook that egg during a call to the opposite mobile phone."

The "fact" was taken from Mobile Cooking , which I wrote three or four years ago for the Wymsey Chronicles Weekend magazine!

The quality of research at that site is something else!

Would you believe it - I got a check from the Taxman this week for overpaid tax in 2001. Not a lot - £68 - but enough to get me a decent mixer on eBay and some left over to put towards a hald decent mic! These items are for Radio Wymsey I bought the mixer from Johnny Roadhouse who seem to be a really nice outfit. Johnny Roadhouse senior played sax for the BBC for many years and worked with many top people. The people you meet at eBay!

Radio Wymsey now has it's own blog with regular updates. The station has both on-demand channels up and running with test programs.
